A Poem | The Modern Woman
salt water or chlorine
sticky or parched
which do you prefer?
which repels the mosquitos?
to taste nature or to absorb industrialism
as she lays in the nude with her body drenched in the remnants of the afternoon sun she chooses salt water
- but only to return back to room conditioned by artificial, cold air
a modern human in her natural habitat
