Richard Neutra: Jason Hailey House

Los Angeles

I was commissioned to photograph the Jason Hailey House, one of Richard Neutra’s iconic modernist residences in the Hollywood Hills. Completed in 1959, the home is a refined example of Neutra’s approach to light, proportion, and the seamless relationship between architecture and landscape.

Perched on a steep hillside, the design emphasizes indoor outdoor living through expansive glass, exposed structure, and carefully considered materials. My goal was to document the home with a focus on atmosphere and spatial experience, capturing the quiet sophistication and enduring relevance of this landmark work.
